Program Details

The online Master of Public Health from ODU is an interprofessional degree program that connects students with international and community organizations and other health professionals. Students choose one of three concentrations in either Health Behavior and Health Promotion, Global Environmental Health, or Applied Epidemiology and Public Health Data Analytics. This program may be full-time or part-time. Full-time students can finish in two years.

Classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Statistical reasoning for public health
  • Systems thinking and health management
  • Environment, society, and health

Graduates will be prepared to work in different facets of public health, including management, analytics, marketing, evaluation, designing health programs, and education. The skills and knowledge from this online program will help graduates succeed in the growing industry of public health.
