Program Details

The online Master of Science in International Agriculture program is a multidisciplinary degree program which prepares students for successful careers in global agriculture.  The curriculum blends theory, practical knowledge, and experience to prepare students to make a significant contribution to the field of international agriculture.  The Master of Science option accommodates students who prefer to take theoretical courses preparing them for research in a program that provides the theoretical, science, and research backgrounds necessary to design, implement, and manage agricultural programs in developed and developing countries.  Graduates will blend theory and practice to improve people’s lives as they find careers as business analysts, international trade and development specialists, college-level educators, agricultural extension specialists, and professional work with non-profit organizations, government sectors, and agricultural commodity groups.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field such as agricultural education or an agriculturally related area from an accredited university
  • A minimum GPA of 2.80 or 3.0 in the last 30 hours for unqualified admission
  • Recommendations from three people 
  • A statement of purpose
