Licensed teachers can add advanced-level literacy skills to their tool kit with a Master of Education in Reading Education. Designed for working professionals, this online program can be completed in just three semesters.

Teachers will increase their knowledge and understanding of language and reading development through this program. Classes prepare you to teach reading at all levels from kindergarten through grade 12. Courses also cover reading assessments, making decisions based on data, conducting research, and working with other professionals to create inclusive reading instruction to meet the needs of all students. Graduates can apply for a reading endorsement to be added to their Ohio teaching license.
