Master of Accountancy & Analytics
Ohio University

Program Details

Gain advanced accounting and analytic skills to examine financial data and produce valuable business insights in any organization. Ohio University’s online Master of Accountancy and Analytics (MAcc) can be completed in five semesters and prepares professionals for the CPA exam in most states. Most students also earn a business analytics graduate certificate as part of their degree program.

This flexible MAcc is AACSB-accredited and includes pathways to accommodate diverse academic and professional backgrounds. A streamlined set of leveling courses allows those without a bachelor’s in accounting to gain the foundational skills to advance.

The 100% online curriculum is grounded in accounting and analytics, though students also gain soft skills employers value, such as communication, problem-solving and collaboration. Course assignments emphasize case studies and real-world business applications. In addition, our accounting faculty bring extensive professional experience to the online classroom as licensed CPAs.

To provide opportunities for engagement, courses include live virtual sessions for class discussions. In addition, the required Leadership Development Conference gives MAcc students the chance to connect with instructors, peers and alumni in person.

When you finish your program, you will have the technical and professional competencies needed to succeed as a CPA in a range of contexts. Graduates are qualified for actuary, auditor, financial analyst and CFO roles.
