Program Details

Ohio Christian University offers the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in History to the online student.  This program instills techniques in evaluation, reading, research, and interpretation of the past as it has shaped society currently.  Students will study concepts and theories through courses including but not limited to:

• Historiography
• Western Civilization
• History of Free Market Thought
• Modern East Asian History  

Develop critical reflection on ideas, faith traditions, cultures, leaders, and political movements which have shaped the world today.  Become proficient in advanced writing and presentational, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.  Upon completion of this program, students are able to produce written work and other materials at an advanced level, demonstrating a readiness to pursue further academic study or a vocation.
