The Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree offered by Northwestern State University of Louisiana may be an ideal program for individuals who are interested in gaining or enhancing current skills in communication, awareness of others, and understanding of ethical issues. This is a four-year degree that focuses on teaching students about the mind and human behavior.
Students will focus on current theories, research, and application that relate to the human mind and behavior. This program aims to assist students in developing related vocabulary, as well as critical thinking and analytic skills, through course material and technology. The courses offered in this major are designed to encourage professionalism, employment and educational opportunities, and provide students with marketable skills they may use upon graduation.
