Northern Kentucky University offers a Psych-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner MSN, an online psychiatric nurse practitioner program.  If you are an RN seeking to advance your career, there is a growing need for psychiatric nurse practitioners that you can join.  With the stigma of mental health fading, there is a growing need for professionals to treat individuals and families with acute or chronic psychiatric needs.  Courses provide the knowledge and skills needed to diagnose, treat, and manage these disorders in patients of all ages.  The curriculum examines a broad range of therapeutic methods.

Graduates are eligible to take the ANCC NCC Psychiatric – Mental Health NP certification examination.
