The Post-Master's Certificate in Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner to Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Northern Kentucky University is an online adult nurse practitioner program.  This degree is designed for those who wish to transition from being the primary care provider to families to being the primary care provider for adult patients with acute, chronic, and critical conditions.  This accelerated program includes the study of differential diagnosis and diagnostic and management issues related to the care of patients of all ages with various acute illnesses.  Courses integrate assessment, implementation, and evaluation of advanced technologies in the diagnosis and management of acutely ill adults.  You will be introduced to invasive interventions and diagnostic device application within the ACNP scope of practice.  Graduates are prepared to work in complex care settings.  

Graduates are eligible to take the Adult-Gero Acute Care certification examination.
