School Details

North Greenville University was founded in 1893 as North Greenville High School, the first high school in the northern portion of Greenville County. In 1905 the school was taken over by the Southern Baptist Convention’s Home Mission Board and in 1915 was renamed North Greenville Baptist Academy. When university status was granted in 1994, the name became North Greenville University. The campus is located in Tigerville, South Carolina.  

NGU is dedicated to providing higher education in a Christian atmosphere that prepares students to become better, contributing members of society. An academic discipline, a Christian lifestyle, and an enriched cultural experience are integrated to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, academic training, and Christian service.  

North Greenville University offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees. Online degrees are also available at each of these levels. NGU online degrees are flexible, so they can be adapted to fit your needs regardless of the stage of life you’re in.
