The online Health Information Technician associate’s technical program combines a profession in health care with information technology skill sets.  The curriculum prepares students to manage medical data and to further enhance their attention-to-detail capabilities. You will also be introduced to computer applications that organize, analyze, evaluate, and report health data, complying with laws, standards, and regulations.

Health Information Technicians often specialize in coding diagnoses and procedures for reimbursement and other purposes in health records.
