Program Details

The online Master of Forest Biomaterials program is designed to meet the career objectives of working professionals employed in the paper and allied industries.  The curriculum consists of courses in paper science and engineering while half of the program consists of electives that allow students to choose the path their degrees will take in order to meet their goals and interests.  While there is no thesis needed for this degree, students are required to complete an independent project and a seminar.


  • Completion requires 30 credits with relevant professional experience; 36 credits with no experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or equivalent
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
