Program Details
Pursue a career in either the private or public sectors with this online agriculture degree. It leads to licensure as a soil scientist at either the state or national level. Other students will use this agriculture online degree to qualify for soil scientist and conservationist positions in the federal, state, and local governments.
Graduates in the private sector will maintain the community’s public health and environmental quality. Learn to identify how lands can best be used for urban growth while still preserving wetlands and protecting other surface waters and groundwater.
Graduates in the public sector will work with soil databases, soil interpretations, and soil investigations for local, state, and federal technical service centers. These students are soil conservationists.
