School Details

New York Medical College is a private, not-for-profit institution founded in 1860. NYMC is located just outside New York City limits. It retains a reputation for its rich heritage of social and environmental concerns and commitment to research. NYMC has trained generations of students from all over the world to deliver skilled and compassionate medical care and to become leaders in public health. It is distinguished by an inclusive and humanistic approach to education.

The College consists of three schools that confer graduate degrees and certificates:

  • School of Medicine
  • Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences
  • School of Health Sciences and Practice

Fully online degrees are available for graduate-level programs in public health and for advanced certificates. Students enrolled in NYMC online degrees benefit from the same curriculum, faculty, admissions, and tuition as on-campus students. As an online learner, you will have the same access but with greater flexibility.
