School Details

New York Medical College, a private, not-for-profit institution founded in 1860, retains a reputation for its rich heritage of social and environmental concerns and commitment to research. NYMC has trained generations of students from all over the world to deliver skilled and compassionate medical care, explore the basic science questions that lead to important discoveries, and provide leadership in the field of public health and essential services to people with specialized care needs. 

The College consists of three schools that confer graduate degrees and certificates:

  • School of Medicine
  • Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences
  • School of Health Sciences and Practice
