A member of the State University of New York System, Mohawk Valley Community College is a two-year, public institution, located in the city of Utica, New York. MVCC was the first community college established in New York in 1946.

Mohawk Valley Community College offers certificates and associate degrees in many programs of study. Distance education options at MVCC allow students to be able to access their courses at any time of the day and from anywhere with an Internet connection. Both online and hybrid courses are available to MCC students. Online courses are flexible and convenient for busy, working students.
