The online Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program is for certified teachers who teach English learner students in the U.S. in K-12 schools that choose to become specialists in TESOL. This career path allows educators to focus on the development of immigrant and refugee children and their families, as well as children born in the U.S. but whose home language is something other than English. Graduates may become classroom teachers or building and district ELL specialists.
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- At least a 3.00 undergraduate GPA and no grade lower than a "B" in any graduate courses, if any have been taken
