Program Details

Mississippi College offers an online MBA with a concentration in Accounting for students who want to advance in their professional careers, specifically in the area of Accounting.  The curriculum provides the Accounting skills needed in the modern business environment, preparing students for professional careers as Certified Public Accountants or as professionals who need intensive accounting knowledge to accomplish their career goals.  Courses in Accounting will cover topics including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and auditing.
 
In addition, students complete MBA courses that prepare them to handle complex business situations with a strong faith-based ethical foundation.  You will develop general management competencies and perspectives through courses that include:

  • Financial Management
  • Quantitative Analysis
  • Strategic Management
  • Law and Ethics in the Business Environment

Requirements

  • Regionally accredited bachelor's degree or higher
  • Possess either a 3.0 or higher GPA OR a minimum 2.25 GPA in combination with 3-5 years of professional experience or GMAT test scores

  • Foundational prerequisites may be required
