School Details

Midland University is a four-year, private, liberal arts institution of higher learning located in Fremont, Nebraska. It was founded in 1883. The school first originated in Atchison, Kansas, and later moved to Fremont in 1919. Then in 1962, Midland and Luther Junior College merged, transitioning to Midland Lutheran College. Once again, in 2010, the school adopted a new title, Midland University. Today, Midland University retains its affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. MU’s mission is for its students “to learn and lead in the world with purpose.”
