Program Details

An online master’s in Social Work from MSU Denver prepares you to work effectively across multiple systems to advance individual and community wellbeing and social justice. Core components of the program include teaching, service, research, and collaboration. Graduates will be able to pursue professions such as clinician, therapist, organizer, and activist. 

Two concentrations are available with the Social Work major: Macro Practice and Individuals and Families. Both concentrations qualify graduates to earn Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker certifications with the completion of additional requirements. Within the Individuals and Families concentration, students choose a specific health and mental health track from the following:
