School Details

From what started as a nurse training program in 1900, Methodist College now provides a high-quality education in nursing, health sciences, and human services through rigorous academic programming and clinical practice. Methodist College is a four-year, private, not-for-profit college affiliated with UnityPoint Health. While it was originally established by the Methodist Episcopal church, the college holds no religious affiliation today.

Faculty at the college promote best practices in healthcare, clinical reasoning skills, culturally competent healthcare, and lifelong learning. In-person and online coursework is combined with clinical and practicum experiences in real-world settings. All students will receive a solid foundation in the arts and sciences. Many programs are available in an online format for distance-learning students and working professionals.
