Program Details

The online Associate in Applied Science in Administration of Justice Studies program prepares students for various careers within the criminal justice system or to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree.  The interdisciplinary curriculum allows students to focus in the areas of Corrections, Law Enforcement, Legal Studies, and Victimology or to complete the general administration of justice studies curriculum.  Courses include general education courses and courses in criminal justice, such as:

  • Introduction to Criminal Justice
  • Substantive Criminal Law
  • Juvenile Justice Procedures
  • Criminology 
  • The Police Function
