Program Details

The online Bookkeeping Certificate program from McHenry County College provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze, record, and summarize accounting transactions manually, in QuickBooks, and using Peachtree General Ledger. Students who complete the program are able to:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • ​Maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers and bank reconciliations
  • ​Assist with monthly costing and account analysis

Requirements

  • Official transcripts from high school and college (if applicable)
  • English, math, and reading placement tests (ACT/SAT scores may be used in lieu of this)
