Program Details

Those currently licensed as elementary or secondary education teachers can enroll in the special education track of MSU’s Master of Education. This online gifted and special education master’s degree program prepares educators for licensure in special education. 

The online special education graduate program aims to develop a safe, ethical, and effective environment for the multi-categorical population of special needs students. Courses align with the standards of the Council on Exceptional Children.

Besides studying the foundations of special education and behavioral strategies for students with disabilities, you will learn topics such as:
