Program Details

Earn a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies with Martin Luther College.  This program is designed for those currently engaged in or entering professions in teaching and ministry.  Courses are offered online and cover topics including:

  • Scripture
  • Doctrine
  • Church history
  • Ministry

Students will take on an advanced study of scripture and the integration of biblical knowledge into personal and professional life.  Develop the tools and techniques to articulate major biblical themes and more with Martin Luther College online.


  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or an average of at least 3.00 for no fewer than nine semester hours of graduate credit at an accredited graduate institution
  • Official transcript 
  • A written statement 
  • International Students for Whom English Is a Second Language: Must provide evidence of English proficiency 
  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and completion of the six undergraduate theology courses required for certification as a staff minister or teacher, or comparable undergraduate coursework approved by the graduate faculty
