The Bachelor of Science in Finance degree at LeTourneau University offers a curriculum focused on preparing graduates to become financial professionals in workplaces locally and around the world while offering a Christian-perspective. Program courses offered at LETU for the BS in Finance degree include the following: Financial Management, Financial Risk Management, Investments, Advanced Finance, International Finance, Financial Analysis and Strategy, and Money and Banking. Suggested elective credit hours include Intermediate Accounting, Fraud Examination, Intro to Personal Finance, Fundraising, Finance Internship, and Public Relations. General business elective credit hours that are required by the program include, Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting, Management and Leadership, Macroeconomics, Marketing Principles, Business Law, Business Ethics, Business Research Methods, Issues in Business, International Travel Experience and Strategic Management.
In total, 126 credit hours are needed in order to complete degree requirements. Of these, 21 hours are finance courses, 47 hours are general education courses, 19 hours are general electives and 30 hours are general business electives.

LeTourneau begins its faith statement by declaring “a deep faith in God is the cornerstone of LeTourneau University.” This private not-for-profit university began as an all male college in 1956 by R.G. and Evelyn LeTourneau in Longview, Texas.
