Program Details
The online Law Enforcement Certificate is primarily designed for in-service officers interested in a specialized field, but pre-service students are also eligible to enroll. The curriculum prepares students for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers. Graduates are able to:
- Understand functions of the criminal justice system
- Understand functions of law enforcement
- Understand how law enforcement relates to the criminal justice system
- Develop a historical perspective of law enforcement
Requirements
- Official high school transcript
- Official college transcripts, if applicable
- Placement test may be required
