Ministry Leadership--Youth Emphasis BA
Lee University allows students the opportunity to major in Ministry Leadership with an emphasis in Youth to follow a possible passion to become further involved in the church scene and potentially teach the word of God to young students.
The degree is broken up into 5 sections to ensure students a well-rounded education. The first section requires 18 credits and is the Religion Core. The next section is dedicated to the General Education Core. This section requires 42 credit hours and has several subsections. The 3rd section is for Ministry Leadership Specialty Area. Students are required to take 30 credit hours. The 4th section is for the Pastoral Ministry Emphasis part of the degree in which students are required to take 24 credits. Courses involved in these areas include: Introduction to Multicultural Ministry, Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, and Creative Communication for Ministry.
The final section is for General Electives (6 credits). Students have the option to further personalize the degree by choosing two 3-credit courses outside the realm of religion and ministry leadership. These courses can be found in the Lee University course catalog. For further assistance in choosing these courses student can consult with university academic advisors. The total credit hours required for the Ministry Leadership degree with an emphasis in Youth is 120 hours.

Lee University is a four-year private school located in Cleveland, Tennessee. The school was established in 1918 as a Bible Training School until 1947 when the name was changed to Lee College. The school was granted university status in 1997. Lee has become one of the largest Christ-centered private institutions in Tennessee and the largest in the Appalachian College Association.
