Program Details

The Certificate in Real Estate from Lamar Institute of Technology is an online real estate degree.  This program is beneficial for those planning on working in the sales, appraisal, brokerage, or finance areas of the real estate industry.  It is designed for those new to the field as well as those seeking to expand their professional knowledge.  This is a one-year program the provides the education required to work in real estate sales but does not meet the requirements for the Texas Real Estate Commission license examination.  This online real estate degree will also meet the educational requirements of the Texas Real Estate Commission for salespersons’ licenses and renewal.
