Program Details

The Small Business Accounting Certificate is available from Lakeland Community College.  This certificate program is designed for those responsible for the accounting and finance functions of a small business.  It can also be used as a way to begin earning an associate degree in accounting, with all of the credits earned being applicable toward this degree.  The curriculum covers a variety of accounting areas. 

You will take such courses as:

• Financial accounting and management for small business
• Managerial accounting
• Accounting information systems

Distance learning follows the same schedule as on-campus progams. In addition, you will have access to online learning resources, some of which include advising, financial assistance and career services.
