Program Details

The online Associate in Applied Science in Health Information Technology prepares students to take active roles in the field of health information management, interacting with physicians, health professionals, and financial and administrative staffs to ensure the protection of information systems.  Courses cover topics such as medical terminology, software integration, clinical classification systems, reimbursement methodologies, and health care management.
