Program Details

The online Master of Education in Instructional Technology program is designed for teachers who wish to develop on the already learned basics from a bachelors level of education, giving graduate students a greater understanding of the technologies used to effectively apply a structured teaching curriculum in the classroom setting. The curriculum builds on the knowledge and skills beyond classroom instruction with learned skills that will contribute a well-rounded professional demeanor to graduates wishing to enter areas of corporate training, multimedia production, web development, administration of technology centers, and many other careers that involve the application of instructional information and communications technologies. Courses introduce students to Instructional Design, Designing Online Courses, Designing Visuals for Instruction, Computer Applications in Education, Researching Current Issues in Instructional Technology and Instructional Applications of the Internet.
