Program Details
Kent State University offers an online Master of Arts in Latin degree. In addition to courses in Latin language and literature, the degree in Latin includes various English-language culture courses in Classical Civilization at the graduate level. Within the online degree in Latin, there are two concentrations:
- Latin Literature
- Applied Linguistics and Pedagogy
The Latin Literature concentration offers intensive Latin language practice at an advanced level across a wide range of literary genres along with academic research and scholarship. The Applied Linguistics and Pedagogy offers additional courses in foreign language pedagogy along with Latin language courses in a hybrid online program.
