Medical Office Administration Certificate
Kaplan University’s online medical office administration program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to pursue entry-level positions in this exciting field.* Coursework focuses on areas including insurance processing and fundamental medical office administrative and clerical tasks. You’ll also have an opportunity to gain valuable, on-the-job experience during your externship in a physician’s office or clinic.† After you graduate, you may be eligible to take the examination given by the American Medical Technologists to become a Certified Medical Administrative Specialist (CMAS) and the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) examination sponsored by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
