Program Overview

This online bachelor’s degree builds on the foundations of early childhood development best practices while also preparing you to become a leader in the early childhood field. Graduates can pursue opportunities in many different arenas, from operating or owning their own early childhood program to managing an early childhood agency or organization.*

    Requirements

    May be required to complete an informational interview. To apply you must meet one of the following standards: Are a high school graduate; Possess a General Education Development certificate or state-specific equivalency diploma; Possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and recognized by your home state, and be beyond the age of compulsory attendance in that state; Are a high school senior eligible to apply and submit proof of high school graduation. May be required to take an entrance examination.

    Restrictions

    At this time, residents of the following states may not enroll in the online Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Administration program: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
