Program Details

The online Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering program prepares students to be professionals in the field of energy systems, able to comprehend and work with the complex systems and increasing environmental constraints.  The curriculum provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to energy system design, evaluation, construction, and management.  Students will learn to work with the challenge of providing sustainable energy for a growing world population that requires new sources of energy while preventing or reversing the degradation of the environment.

Requirements

  • A 3.0 grade point average from an ABET accredited undergraduate engineering program
  • Two years of engineering experience or current full-time employment as an engineer
  • Calculus, engineering statistics, and engineering economy
  • Official transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation

  • GRE scores are required only if your undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 or if you have less than two years of full-time employment
