The Associate in Applied Science in Securing Information Technology from Iowa Central Community College is an online information security degree.  With the rise in information technology and the use of cyber security, there is a corresponding increase in the need for professionals capable of investigating and analyzing cybercrimes.  The curriculum provides the skills needed to maintain security protocols on information technology networks of various sizes along with the knowledge and skills that will help students investigate and analyze cyber intrusions.  You will be able to protect critical information, critical network infrastructure, assess threats and vulnerabilities, and document and assist with forensic analysis of cyber incidents.
