Program Details

The online Master of Social Work degree program offers an advanced standing option.  This is available for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree in social work and allows the students to complete the program faster.  The program offers a personal, professional, and innovative experience for all learners seeking to practice social work at the advanced clinical level.  Emphasis is placed on a foundational integrative generalist practice approach to social work that draws on individual, group, and family strengths.  In addition, this program offers a biblical perspective on the intrinsic worth of everyone.  You will learn to integrate social work ethics and personal faith with academic excellence and research-informed practice.  Students also learn to promote individual and community resilience and well-being through respect for diversity and to advocate for human rights.  Graduates possess the knowledge and skills needed for advanced social work practice and leadership informed by theoretical perspectives, biblical truth, knowledge of human behavior and research.
