Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Radiological Physics program is designed for students who want to refresh their knowledge of specific topics in health physics.  With this program, students are able to take courses for Continuing Education Credit for Health Physics or to prepare for initial certification for the American Board of Radiology qualifying examination.  Courses may include:
  • Instrumentation for Health Physics
  • Radiation Biophysics
  • Environmental Health Physics
  • Radiation Physics
  • Introduction to Health Physics


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Prerequisites may be required if degree is not in closely related field
