Program Details

The online BS in Health Science / Emergency Medical Services degree completion program from Idaho State University is designed to meet the needs of students who already have an associate's degree in Paramedic Science and wish to pursue a bachelor's degree with an emergency medical service focus. The curriculum offers four different tracks to suit students' personal interests and professional goals:

  • Leadership/Management – focuses on the operation and management of the EMS agency
  • Education – prepares students to teach in the EMS field
  • Clinical – prepares students for graduate clinical programs such as Physician Assistant or Medical School
  • Community Paramedics – provides paramedics with additional traning to serve as community paramedics focusing on transitional care, prevention and wellness, and disease management in an effort to connect underutilized resources to underserved populations

Requirements

Bachelor completion requires 122 credits, including transfer credits.
