Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Emergency Management program prepares students to meet the changing demands in emergency management and related administrative duties as emergency managers with increased knowledge and sophistication to meet the increasing complexity in the public and private sectors.  The program places emphasis upon the needs of first responder professionals at the city, county, state, and national levels, preparing them to handle the developing roles in emergency management in order to save lives, protect property, assist communities impacted by disasters, and aid in recovery from emergencies.  Graduates are prepared to help prevent and mitigate risk from natural and human-caused disasters and emergencies.
