Program Details

Through the online Master of Science in Education in Literacy Education, students will enhance their educational instruction skills by teaching literacy to students of diverse backgrounds. Start dates are in August and May. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and hold a valid teaching license or be in the process of obtaining one.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Foundations of learning theory and inquiry
  • Culturally responsive and dialogic pedagogy
  • Early childhood education

This online program allows for flexibility and balance of school, work, and other responsibilities. Classes are taught by highly qualified instructors who are eager to assist students.
