Program Details

The Certificate in Human Services degree online is available from Holyoke Community College.  This program is designed for those considering a career change and entering the Human Services field, as well as those already in the field who would like to upgrade their skills and knowledge.  Students will complete courses that provide skills and knowledge in a variety of areas.  With only a few required courses, this flexible program is comprised mostly of electives, allowing you to choose which courses to complete depending on your interests and career goals.  Graduates are prepared to work in numerous settings within the human services field, including human service agencies, community action programs, day care centers, educational settings, community health settings, work with the elderly, correctional facilities, substance abuse programs, and more.
