Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Counseling is an online counseling degree available at Hobe Sound Bible College.  The primary objective of any degree at Hobe Sound is to promote spiritual development while preparing Christians for more effective service for the Lord.  The counseling program is designed for students who wish to gain the knowledge and skills required to provide competent, Christian-based counseling.  The curriculum is designed with the whole person in mind, addressing the nature of human needs and the student’s ministry capabilities while also developing the student’s ability to integrate counseling and psychology’s core concepts with the Bible’s basic teachings.  You will learn counseling techniques that help with nurturing emotional well-being in the lives of others and learn how to handle losses and in-crises situations in other’s lives.
