Program Details

The online Associate in Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies prepares students for entry-level positions in the criminal justice field or to transfer to a four-year university to seek bachelor’s degrees.  A variety of tracks are available within the program depending on the student’s career goals.  Career specializations may include fingerprint training, private security and investigations, victim advocacy, and crime analysis.  Coursework provides a background in topics including the history, philosophy, organization, management, and operation of the criminal justice system. 

Graduates will be prepared to work in a wide variety of positions, including:
