Program Details

Hawaii Pacific University’s online MBA with a concentration in Information Systems program develops skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.  In the Information Systems courses students learn about project management, systems architecture, and knowledge management while also gaining knowledge of key business functions in the MBA courses.  Graduates from this concentration understand data mining, network analysis, and Global Information Systems.  Courses are taught by dedicated professionals who encourage student-professor interaction and project collaboration.  Students also learn to:

  • Analyze and evaluate business performance
  • Create innovative business solutions
  • Adapt to the global environment
  • Assess legal, professional, and ethical implications of business decisions

    • A waiver is available if one of the following criteria is met:
      • A conferred degree from HPU and earned a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
      • A conferred master's degree or higher from an accredited institution and earned a minimum of a 3.0 CGPA
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Official Transcripts showing conferred Bachelor's Degree, Master's if applicable
  • International Applicants:  the minimum English Proficiency Requirements is a TOEFL (IBT) overall score of 80 with a writing Score of 25, or IELTS overall score of 6.0 with a Writing Score of 6.5
