The Associate in Applied Science in Information Technology with a Security & Data Assurance track is an online information security degree from Guilford Technical Community College.  With this degree you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to help protect data online.  You will study a wide range of computer network and security technology concepts as you learn to identify current ethical issues and security threats in computer technology.  With this flexible degree students are able to choose technical electives that best meet their interests and career goals.  Topics covered include:
