The online Associate of Science in Homeland Security & Emergency Management program prepares students for a wide variety of security and safety professions while also providing training in coordinating, managing, and delivering resources after natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and other tragedies. Students will receive training in homeland security and emergency management occupations, including policing, firefighting, airport security, telecommunications, and other entities and events in which homeland security and emergency management needs occur. This program prepares students for their intended bachelor’s degree major, providing the necessary prerequisite courses.
- Official regionally accredited high school transcript with date of graduation or official GED exam passing scores
- Minimum test scores on the ACCUPLACER test(s) and/or SAT or ACT test scores
