Program Details

Georgetown College offers a Master of Arts in Education degree with a specialization in Learning & Behavior Disorders (LBD) for Certified Teachers. The degree can be completed fully online. The curriculum is designed for candidates with a teaching certificate who wish to learn more about teaching students with learning and behavior disabilities.


  • Submit official transcripts with undergraduate degree posted and official transcript if graduate coursework was completed
  • Students must have either a 2.75 undergraduate GPA, a 3.0 on the last 30 hours of coursework, or a 3.5 on 15 hours of graduate work
  • Please answer the writing prompt using critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity
  • If you are certified in a state other than Kentucky, submit a copy of your teaching certificate
