Master of Arts in Education / Literacy Specialist (P-12)
Georgetown College

Program Details

The online MAEd in Literacy Specialist with a Teacher Leadership endorsement program allows teachers to become literacy coaches, reading specialists, or supervisors, in the settings of PreK-12th grades.  Through the core curriculum, teachers develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be effective educators in their classrooms, enhance the professional growth of their colleagues, and affect school-wide change.  Teacher Leaders judiciously gather and analyze information and data from multiple sources; effectively identify and address students’ learning needs; critically think about how to improve teaching and learning, and cooperatively work with others within and beyond the school to help all students achieve their fullest potential.
