George Mason University’s online CSWE accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program prepares you to take the next step toward a career in direct client service. With an MSW curriculum that emphasizes social justice, empowerment, and systems transformation, you can be confident you’re learning what it takes to serve the needs of any population in a variety of social work settings.

The Children, Youth, & Families (CYF) specialization prepares students to work with children, adolescents, and families as they navigate through the family life cycle. CYF’s specialized training will provide the skills and knowledge for effective practice with children, youth, and families at the micro, macro, and mezzo levels. Students are prepared to work in a variety of settings such as schools, family service agencies, foster care, child welfare, and juvenile justice.
