Program Details

The online AS in Criminal Justice degree program from Genesee Community College is designed to prepare students for transfer to a four-year college or university in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree in criminal justice or a related field. In addition to a solid foundation of general education courses, the curriculum provides knowledge and skills in areas such as:

  • Criminal Law
  • Policing
  • Corrections
  • Administration
  • Criminal Investigation


  • Official high school transcripts or copy of GED
  • Official transcripts from any college attended
  • ACT scores (Compass placement test is required if the applicant has not taken the ACT)
  • Certificate of residence, if applying for in-state tuition
